Getting Started

I remember when I first started going to the gym just under 5 years ago, and it wasn’t exactly the easiest thing to do!  You are surrounded by people who have been training a long time and it can be very intimidating and easily put you off, as it almost did to me a few times. This is one thing that I try my best to help with when I see someone new in the gym. For some reason, most people in the gym never seem to go out of their way to help newbies when the simplest of help or even interaction could be the reason for them keeping fitness in their lives. When you are starting out in the gym it is too easy to forget that everyone starts somewhere whether it be overweight, skinny, or just unfit.  In the beginning if I had the knowledge I had now I would have gained results a lot faster and more efficiently.  Now knowing this I am more than happy to help and motivate anyone who is just starting out as I know the importance of having that help.
